Colorado Springs in a “Severe Recession” – outlook not good

An article in today’s Gazette* summed up the current state of the economy in the Pikes Peak region, calling it a “severe recession” that has cut sales for more than 70% of businesses in the area.  Unfortunately, the likely result in the near future will be more businesses cutting back or closing and more of our residents out of work.  Without a steady paycheck, more and more hard-working people will find themselves unable to keep up with their mortgage, car payments, credit cards, and even food & utility payments.

This new web site is dedicated to those who find themselves in this position.  I’ll be writing about the ins and outs of bankruptcy law, especially as it relates to those of us who live in the Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak region.  If you have any questions, or comments, please leave them below.  I’ll respond as best as I can.
